The operations include a general revision of the instrument, with complete disassembly and lubrication of the sliding hammer and index axis. The test also include the check of the flange guide and the verification of the piston buffer spring.
All tests are made according to the calibration procedures indicated for the calculation of the instrumental precision and its relative measurement uncertainty.
The execution of the certification is done using primary samples tested and certified by UKAS and ACCREDIA.
