The operations include a general revision of the instrument , the verification of the micrometric movements, the verification of the focusing group, the alignment of the levels, the check of the compensator, a general cleaning and the calibration.
The execution of the instrumental tests, for the preparation to the certification, take place in the open field at our external calibration polygon.
Forstner, Nabauer and Kukkamaki are the methods normally used.
The execution of the certification is done using primary samples generated by a Breithaupt collimator, model Jusko, with an incremental reticle tested and certified by UKAS and ACCREDIA.
All tests are made according to the calibration procedures indicated for the calculation of the instrumental precision and its relative measurement uncertainty.
