The operations include a general revision of the instrument, the verification of stability between the micrometer and the alidade, the verification of the micrometric movements, the verification of the focusing groups, the alignment of the levels and compensator, a general cleaning and the calibration.
The execution of the certification is done using primary samples generated by a Breithaupt collimator, model Jusko, with an incremental reticle tested and certified by UKAS and ACCREDIA.
All tests are made according to the calibration procedures indicated for the calculation of the instrumental precision and its relative measurement uncertainty.
